Patterson Park Audubon Center’s Baltimore Birding Weekend was named the Best New Eco Event in 2017! Thank you, Baltimore magazine! We are also grateful to our event managers and sponsors. This spring, National Audubon Society also hosted a front page article, entitled “Baltimore’s Birding Scene is on the Rise.”
Educator of the Year
Patterson Park Audubon Center’s Erin Reed was chosen as National Audubon Society’s Educator of the Year in December. The official award presentation took place last weekend in Park City, UT, during the Audubon Convention banquet. After an emotional presentation of the award by the Center’s Director, Susie Creamer, and words of gratitude by Erin Reed, the Center’s Education Manager, 500 people gave Erin a standing ovation. We are proud to have Erin on the Audubon team!
